To be honest, it would be unusual to spend $100 or more on a vape mod. Only high-end USA-made, CNC-machined, or limited edition mods usually cost that much except for some kits. Even the most high-tech devices from China are priced reasonably bearing in mind you have to add an atomizer and sometimes a battery or two as well. The whole set might cost $100, but probably not the mod itself.
Excellence is Affordable
Don’t fool yourself into thinking an American brand offers an American product. Most brands and models are manufactured in China to the specs of their client who then brands them with “Vaporfi” or “Mig Vapor” before adding 50% or more to the price. Since the technology isn’t pricey when you shop for Chinese names, there is no reason to avoid temperature control or fancy-looking details if that’s what you want.
You can still have a screen and probably will have. Numerous all-in-one mods are available, but the following vape mods are among the top-rated, best-selling devices in their class. I am not favoring anything based on wattage or how big it is but basing this article solely on the voice of the people. The people say they usually want more for less.
1. Eleaf iStick 100W TC
That accounts for the Eleaf iStick 100 W Temp Control mod being first on this list. It’s a best seller, has received hundreds of reviews, and most of those reviews have been 4-star or better. Consumers appreciate the slender build of this upgraded 100W iStick and also the opportunity to personalize it. Select a one-battery or two-battery build for 75W or 100W max vaping. A hidden firing button takes its cue from SMOK, but a screen and adjustment buttons down the middle are much in keeping with Eleaf’s typical iStick style. Batteries are stationed one on either side so you get a rounded profile whichever way you hold this device sold in several colors and with a locking feature at the top.
2. Innokin CoolFire IV 100W TC
Maybe $45 will buy a Temperature Control mod, but the Innokin CoolFire IV with VW and VV settings is still a top seller. There are lots of consumers uninterested in varying temperature and using expensive coils.
The Innokin CoolFire IV is sporty and offers a nice power range of 1W to 100W. A 3300mAh built-in battery suffices for hours of enjoyment while the diamond power button adds a touch of class. Corners around the interface are rounded and the side a person holds is shaped to fit a person’s hand. Plug in the USB cord and vape while charging.
3. Kanger KBox 200W
For about $50, you can own the highest-power KBOX released so far, also featuring temp control. Reach a maximum of 600F and 7W to 200W using sub ohm coils of all sorts. There are three colors: black, red, or white. Kanger ensures there are many safety features on board like short circuit protection. The chip controlling such things is also responsible for the bright screen showing your watts, temperature, volts, and resistance. Remove batteries to recharge them quickly and safely.
4. Wismec Reuleaux RX200S
This JayBo design boasts an unusual triangular shape for optimum comfort. Batteries are not included and you will need three of them for Wismec’s 200W mod capable of supporting 0.05-ohm coils made with Ni200 and other temperature-sensitive coils. The system comes in several colors. Vapers enjoy the unusual geometry and beautiful symmetry of everything from battery vent holes to control buttons.
5. Eleaf iStick Honorable Mentions
Eleaf returns to this list with their lower-powered devices, both the 40W and their 50W Simple. An iStick Simple shares the shape of an iStick 100W TC but without dual battery options and fewer buttons for a cleaner look. A 4400mAh battery is already built in. The 40W VW/TC is beautifully slender and compact. An OLED screen disappears into the mod stealthily and you only know it is a screen when digits light up.
